Except possibly #26 ... If the sun is strong enough to charge with solar panels, wouldn't it heat that metal bench up, too?

Gilbert, #26 not necessarily. It doesn't take much energy to charge a phone, and the solar panels work on ambient light as well (although they are most effective in direct sun light, of course).

#29 the hole is also horizontal (which it is on all my shirts) to help with the same issue. Personally I button my shirts from thw top though, so no help for me there....
