#44 “I Bought Those Hundreds And Thousands From Back Home". I don’t understand what they’re trying to say. Why would you need to buy those ingredients from Australia?

#10 Australian health care worker here. This picture with text has got to stop circulating. It's misleading! If Australia has a reciprocial arrangement with the country which you are a resident of, you will be covered. If you do not, you will be billed for the cost of your care.
At this time, Australia has reciprocal agreements with the following countries:
Belgium
Finland
Italy
Malta
the Netherlands
New Zealand
Norway
the Republic of Ireland
Slovenia
Sweden
the United Kingdom.

#20 The god damn gympie-gympie. During WWII a British officer on a training exercise wiped his butt with a leaf all his men heard was a scream followed by a shot. There are reports of cases of animals that came into contact with it committing suicide. Another little fun fact the plant is covered in tiny glass-like needles that deliver the toxin and they stay active for years after the plant is dead. I can highly recommend this YouTube video about it mg-GLwJ8Emk
