Just google unix timestamp, 01.01.1970 is equal to a timestamp of zero or your microwave blinking 12:00 at you.
It doesn't have to anyone who knows how this stuff works knows that it means 1970. Because that is how Unix timestamps work which is the format/system many machines use to keep time. It basically just counts seconds and second 0 is January 1st 1970 at 00:00. It is also not able to reach 2070 because unix time is only able to January 19 2038 at which point any system that still uses a 32-bit integer to store the timestamp will reach a catastrophic buffer overflow.
