Happened to a cat I had, when we got her as a kitten she was almost all white but as she got older her head, ears, tail and paws got dark. Turns out it's normal in Siamese cats (she was a typical mixed alley cat so we guess there was Siamese mixed in) for the extremities to get dark over time.
