#11 - surely a few people had to design and sign off on that. They should all be fired. Drivers don't have time to read a manual for what they're supposed to do. A simple multi lane roundabout would have worked just fine.
#11 - it's spelt Swindon (no G) and there's an identical one in Hemel Hempstead which I've driven round (clockwise and anti-clockwise) hundreds of times. It's fast flowing and easy to use - just scary the 1st time you see it.
#21 I have NEVER heard the term "wild ice" in the 30+ years I have lived in Alaska. It's just a frozen pond. I take offense that natural ice is being described as "wild".
