I get to go to the Bell Labs building regularly for my work... Eero Saarinen was a h*ll of an architect. All of these are great! good

I've worked at a datacenter that was built in a former linear-particle-accelerator building. They had a 300m long underground hall with 1m of concrete around it, and 1m iron doors on wheels. The stairwells were built to be radiation proof. We had our own 10KV substation in-house. The whole center used around 1.25KA per phase, over 12 phases (2 buildings, both redundant 3 phase power). Walking around in it all you heard was the screaming of air-conditioners and server fans.
It was very post-apocalyptic industrial. I loved working night-shifts in there.
