#48 Issue is, zip ties are made out of plastic, and with time, the sun, heat and such, they will dry them out and will end up breaking. Someone might end up getting a plank on the head if they happen to be near by when they fall over.

You are correct, especially the white ones. They aren't for exterior use, it'll be down in 30-60 days. Black ones last about a year depending on the climate.
