#5 Before he died, James Watson was unfairly vilified for speaking the truth about race and intelligence. Because, how could someone who literally discovered and mapped the Human Genome know anything about the differences in racial genetics, right? Feelings should never hold sway over facts.

Which of his statements do you describe as unfairly criticised? That whites are genetically more intelligent than blacks? That Asians are inherently more intelligent than whites? That people with more melanin (darker skin) are better lovers? That people should be able to abort fetuses for any reason they prefer? That stupidity is a disease? That females should be decorative but aren't much use in a research environment? Etcetera, etcetera. Just because somebody intelligent makes a statement does not make it correct. According to his 'theories' any Asian scientist that disagreed with him would have to be correct, n'est pas?

Some of you need to learn to read better. At no point did I say that I agreed or disagreed with all our any of Watson's statements or theories. I simply asked which of the various possibly controversial statements the OP was claiming had been "unfairly vilified" so to find common ground. However some overly insecure individuals immediately made unfounded assumptions and jumped straight to add hominem insults rather than addressing the question.
