#30 We love that rule, it was a great way to cheat the system and do a "no-bidding" where the person could by it for less than the original value. Like the american farmers who let unfortunate families buy their farm back from foreclosure, for cheap when it went to auction. We are that kind of family.

#40 Absolutely true. Communal washing with only 2 machines. Unless you sit and wait like a proper laundry patron, your stuff WILL be moved out of the way. And you will be lucky if I don't put it on the floor if you took your basket with you.

#33 Had the same here (Germany). Had a Family of eight (from Babies to Grans) at my place (a big Farmhouse) in 2022-23. They made me a customized Madryoshka (Nesting Doll) set with all the family members depicted as a parting gift. I was very moved and now wonder how they are doing. I hope they come to visit me at some day.
