#20 I had a similar pair of Doc Martens in brown in worse shape than yours after 9 months. I threw them out at 9 months with holes at the seems near the toe. I've had $35 shoes last 3.5 years before in the same environment before I replaced them mostly for cosmetic reason - no holes in them.
