Theodora,

I wondered what that was. I’m 50 years old and have never seen one of those.

Valeri, Check your facts. You are very wrong. The Germans invaded Poland when WW2 started. All our countries fought in that war. Britain and France declared war against Germany.

#7 Don't have to wonder. My father spent all of World War II in Japan as a POW.

#34 Not very exciting propaganda. Nixon was a blatant traitor to the United States and he knew it. He kept the war going for money killing twice as many Americans as had already died in Vietnam. His military started desperately carpet bombing South Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, killing millions and still lost. He was scum and so was everybody that helped him. Like those dirt bags Wolfowitz, Cheney and their CIA creeps. And Bush 2 was stupider than hell and let them destabilize the middle east by attacking Iraq, wasting a trillion dollars and f-ing the economy in 2008.

Corrected for inflation

#14 $1,240.34
#15 $84.54
#16 $46.59 (for a $9 ticket from 1977, can't read the dates)

Still seems a lot cheaper than today

#44 That's not even a "floppy" disk.
