he's taking a photo of earth (with all the humans on it) an the lander (with the other astronauts in it). there is no one else behing the camera then him. he's alone on the shuttle and all of humanity is in front of him (even our dead, since we don't shoot them into space).
i know he also had to make atleast one orbit around the moon alone in the shuttle. during the time behind the moon there is no signal. no one ever was this alone/seperated til today. though no one can hear you, you still shouldn't fart... the capsule is small
Robby, Yes.... just like the photo said. "Michael Collins, the astronaut who took this photo in 1969, is the only human, living or dead, who is not in the frame of this picture." Read it again, slowly...it's all there.
#50 Thanks to these old fairy tale books, man has been killing each other over them and still do to this day. Religion is evil and for the weak-minded.
the problem with "religion" is that it doesn't have to come in a spiritual, faith based form.
It's always about "othering". It's always either "us, the good ones" or "the others, the bad ones" and people start bashing their heads in over this. Regardless of the "religion" label.
Of course, if it's "religion", it's so nice, obvious, tangible and you can point to something.
Just put in something other that distinguishes you from others. Color of skin? Sex? Language? Origin? People have been there and done that. It's what people do.
Antonia, are you okay? have you even read a single chapter? it's full of lessons, morals and a lot of today's sayings are in the book. im sorry you think people who believe in the golden rule are weak minded
