#24 HA yeah and there's also a whole list of NO they're leaving out like NO ROOM, NO COMFORTABLE SEATING, NO BACKSEAT HEATING, NO HORSE POWER, NO EASILY ACQUIRING PARTS, NO EASY ACCESS TO THE BACK SEAT, NO SOUNDPROOFING, NO BACKSEAT VENTILATION, NO SUFFICIENT TRUNK SPACE, NO HEADROOM, ETC. And I don't see how no stereo and no power steering are cons... there's also NO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, though that's not actually not a con for me but no good for people who can't operate a manual. My dad was a mechanic at a Volkswagen dealership in the 70's -80's and we went through two Beetles before he ultimately gave up on trying to keep them running, so I can tell you from experience that unless you have the money and the ambition to sink into them, the vintage ones are cute but miserable piles of junk.
