#13 I’ve been able to do this all my life. I didn’t know this was considered a “some people can” ability. I can’t describe to you how to do it…I just know it’s easy. The sound is like vibrating wind or a muffled drumroll on a timpani drum.
I would say it's like crinkled saran wrap. I can make the pops slow or fast, but I always associated it with a throat muscle, not an ear muscle... I guess it is in the bottom of the ear and down the neck a bit.
