I remember the first celebrity to be outed as exceedingly intelligent was the late Kris Kristofferson who was a Rhodes Scholar.
The Offspring frontman, Dexter Holland, was valedictorian in high school and later earned a PhD in molecular biology with his thesis on HIV research.
