Luella,probably a few local stations on the premise for demo purpose. But I wonder if that was even digital bc you could listen in on those calls with CB radios...

it didn't. That's why cell phones are called cell phones. They need cell towers to work. It worked on the AMPS system, which used the 850MHz band. Yes, analouge, no, not CB frequency range. Elly probably mixed that with wireless land line phones, which operated in that frequency range (and therefore had those ridicously long antennas).

#4 One of the best decisions of my life was to learn how to exercise without going to a McGym. At 66yo, I've never been more fit, stronger, or healthier. I wouldn't go to a gym now if it were free.
