I love to tell this story: Yank here. I watch almost exclusively British television. Twice I've been watching shows in which a Scottish character has had such a thick accent that I had to go to the subtitles. Think about that: I had to go to subtitles to decipher the English spoken by a Scot. But that's not the funny part. There were no English subtitles because, of course, the program was in English. Luckily, I was able to use the Spanish subtitles. To understand a Scot speaking English. But that's still not the funny part.

The funny part is that I don't speak Spanish.
