#13 This is an incorrect statement. "Jadeite" is a man-made form of molded green translucent glass. It is not itself Jade, which is a mineral. The best quality Jadeite are the ones that glow bright green under ultraviolet light (black light). I have about 80-100 common and rare examples from the 1930's-50's. The pieces that glow, I have in it's own display case with a black light. It's eerily beautiful...especially, while high. good
