Laurence, I did the math. At the solar constant of about 1.000Watts/m² and a common nuclear reactor having a yield of about 2,5MW it would take 50Km² of panels to match that.

#18 I was abused as a child when I was eating loud. When I was not eve able to speak my daddy used to beat me with his belt when I was eating loud. I was 5 or 6 when I realized I was getting beaten up because of that.
Now I have issues when someone is eating loud because I can feel the belt on my back.

This called: post Soviet parenting syndrome....

#14 That is not a comparative statement... how big of a panel per reactor? Any solar panel can make more than most reactors since the technology hasn't been updated most places. New reactors would be very different than older ones.
