Daniel Day-Lewis In "In The Name Of The Father"

"To play Gerry Conlon in In the Name of the Father, Daniel Day-Lewis went to extremes. He lost 30 pounds by eating prison rations and spent a lot of time in a jail cell set piece. While he was in there, the crew would even throw insults and cold water at him to help him get into character."
I agree totally... I was going to comment the same thing! This is just going too far...we can't say Holocaust, killer, suicide? F***ing ridiculous!
I've been depressed and suicidal and seeing the word isn't going to send me into a freaking spiral it's just dumb.
The needless censoring of certain words perceived to be harmful, is unsubstantiated by basic logic. Even if you pasted this from other sources, I'm sure you can fill in the words that were erstwhile censored. It's obvious by the comments left that we resent this post as an insult to our collective intelligence. We're big boys and girls who are smart and resilient enough as to not be negatively affected by innocuous language. We shouldn't struggle to fill in the blanks when you can simply do it for us. You're here for us...but, we're here for you.
Sincerely,
Everyone.
