#4 Actually, they're not. I isolated each sphere to be independent of the stripes as to offset the optical illusion. Each, are the colors you see. I'm not trying to be a buzz-kill...it's just a fact.

I did the same, but you'd have to find the original image to be certain. The version uploaded here is of very low resolution, and likely has been highly affected by compression which might have colored the normally gray balls.
