I went there for a month on the suggestion of many people I met on the journey. I ended up staying for 3 years. I recently went back and met up with a bunch of the friends that I met there after 8 years apart. It was as if we’d been apart for 12 hours.

Traveled the north western hemisphere only so far, but I keep coming back to rural Alaska, especially Southeast. It's tough living, wild weather and animals, dangers everywhere, but so beautiful it makes me cry thinking about it.
