"Maui. It was breathtaking. Everywhere you went it smelled of plants, flowers and the ocean.
The pace of the city was very laid back. All town roads were 35 mph or under. Standing in line to pay for anything was not an annoyance as everyone around you is relaxed and friendly.
I wish I could go for a couple weeks every year just to recharge."

Traveled the north western hemisphere only so far, but I keep coming back to rural Alaska, especially Southeast. It's tough living, wild weather and animals, dangers everywhere, but so beautiful it makes me cry thinking about it.
