You do realise it goes both ways, right? It prevents you from having to do that when you upscale a recipe, like if you have something that needs 6tsp by default, but you want to make 6 times as much, you can check and see that you can measure 177ml instead.

Tamzine and Cally Pro chef 20+ years (USA) while technically not wrong never in my entire career have I ever seen a recipe that calls for more than two tbsp/tsp so yeah, the chart is useless and also we don't use your stupid f*n metrics that's for pussies in labs not American kitchens.
