In the 90 black tv shows were wholesome life lessons and we all watched them to a point of never missing an episode. They slowly evolved into woke liberal garbage and we all stoped watching them. That's what happened. I believe If they would create a non agenda driven show it would do great. "Liberal fatigue" is a real thing, Most people are over it.

Brian,

Woke is you "care" only about people who tow the Left wing Party Line and perpetuate 'The Narrative.' It is racist by definition, highly bigoted, anti-Constitutional, selfish to its core, Narcissistic and grossly, GROSSLY anti-intellectual. Did I write "grossly?" because, I think I did.

Maybe one time someone will notice, that the kind of change we feel, the global drift of human behaviour, the somehow strange appearing world as it is now, all that - it might have started with multiple generations of people having simultaneous access to basically everything and everyone, everytime, right in the pocket.

The internet hit everyone, but besides a bunch of people that participated in the early years, no one really knew what they did - and it shows.

We're a few generations in now, having parents still not understanding what they do, while the kids are still not learning it as they should.

Given that situation, who would expect any other outcome than that weird shit we all live in now?

This is fine.

#9 I think it was Bill Cosby's fault. He ruined the black sitcom reputation forever.

Essie,

I know, right? Bill Cosby had a lot of nerve being a successful doctor with smart children and a smart, strong, independent wife who were all proud to be American and were socially accepted and beloved by races who watched the show. Now, blacks are portrayed as victims of non-existent White Supremacy in movies and television because the leftist elite want them to remain 'On The Plantation.' Otherwise, that would make them 'uppity.' And, the Leftist Elite will have none of that. Look how they treat ANY black person who resists victimhood and are proud to be American.

The Left's demand for racism, always exceeds the supply. And they hate that.

And by the way...I'm black with two Masters Degrees.

Bring it, bitches.

#1 has anyone noticed how a more 'progressive' government produced more homeless people addicted to drugs who are content to live on welfare in tent cities, leaving us with basically zero solutions?

#47 Ummm. Racism was expounding with riots, police wars, gangs. Prices were increasing, and dairy was scarce. Schools started having shootings more often as they grew into thousands of students. Entire generation had to learn a new technology their parents couldn't help with. And mental health was viewed as akin to having a mental breakdown and insanity and could get you fired.
