#12 50'S? Still called them Chinese Gooseberries well into the early 80's in NZ. Only really from mid-to-late 80's, was the fruit known popularly as Kiwifruit.
We are closer to the T-Rex in number of years than the T-Rex was to the Stegosaurus.
