#9 Guys, I don't care how many other skills you have, or think you have, do not do tree work yourself. If a tree is within striking distance of anything - building, car, power lines, person - get a professional. If you have to climb a height greater than the height of your body, get a pro. I don't care how tough you are, how many sports you played, how many guys you beat up in high school; get a professional. I did tree work. I've seen guys destroy houses, vintage cars, pools, patios, barns, etc etc. I've seen farm animals killed because of this. Man up and admit you are not a tree guy. Get a pro.
