Tolkien wrote dwarf women were alike in dress and appearance to dwarf men. He never said they grew beards. In fact, no fantasy genre has ever had dwarven women with beards. That's only when the THE MESSAGE got a hold of the IP and we ended up with that The Woke of the Rings garbage on Amazon.

Etta, Disc World is light hearted with comedic undertones. Lord of the Rings is not a light hearted comedy by any standard.
