#15 not buying it. it takes longer than 24 hours for a freezer to thaw. With no one opening the door, it takes several days...Only one day it's still going to be mostly frozen.

#16 Not ruined at all. Rinse in warm soapy water, then clean warm water, roll in a clean towel, gently squeeze, let dry flat. Easy!
