Actor Christian Brando, son of Marlon Brando, pleaded guilty to manslaughter after he shot and killed the boyfriend of his half-sister Cheyenne, Dag Drollet. Though Brando maintained that the May 1990 shooting was accidental, he also said it happened during a confrontation about Cheyenne's claim that Drollet was abusing her. Brando was originally charged with first-degree murder, and he served five years of a ten-year sentence. Notably, Cheyenne Brando gave birth to Drollet's son, Tuki Brando, only a month after his death, and she hanged herself in 1995.
