#8 The Mummers tradition is alive and well in Philadelphia, Pa. It's by far the oldest European-based cultural celebration in the US. Google it.

#9 Complete BS. That's a simply wonderful song. 'Critics' don't like it because it's simple, fun, playful, and easy to sing along with. Anyone who knows music theory - the technical side of music - knows it's as well written and played as any song he ever did. It is no less complex than many of his greatest hits. There is nothing to criticize about this song; the so-called critics are being completely subjective.

Peggy,

Nope. “Wonderful Christmas time” is the worst song ever.

Between the 16th and 19th centuries was what is known as a “little ice age” where global temperatures were several degrees lower than normal. It is for this reason that many Christmas carols and songs stress a “White Christmas”.
