Brand has discussed knowing what it’s like to hit rock bottom, having been a former alcoholic and heroin addict, and it’s because of this he spends time with the homeless people in his area. He’s been photographed/seen countless times hanging out with them, taking them to breakfast, and assisting them in all sorts of ways.
