22 year old students, Zara Yang and Jakub Bures built this 10 foot boat using 5000 plastic bottles that are tied to a wooden frame. The project aims to draw attention to the problem of plastic pollution in Europe and it is pretty remarkable.

This is a concept of the super yacht Beluga, Emperor of the Seven Seas. It won the best new super yacht concept at the last boat show in Monica. The yacht has a sunroof, small vegetable garden, palm trees, library, and a whiskey bar. It is very futuristic and worth $200,000,000.
Japanese artist Yasuhiro Suzuki has designed one of the most creative, original and unique boats in the world: a motorboat designed after a zipper tab!
What was only a scale model in 2004 has now become a reality and was presented at the Setouchi International Art Festival in Japan.
Yasuhiro Suzuki said: “As the vessel glides through the water, the wake looks like a zipper coming undone, suggesting the image of the sea opening up.”
Strand Craft 122 is a 38-meter long super yacht equipped with twin Rolls-Royce engines and apparently an optional 14,000-horsepower booster engine. It would theoretically go a top speed of 55 knots. You can also count on "four double and very large staterooms, heads, reception, salon areas and comfortable crew cabins, 52" LED TVs and sound systems in all rooms."
As for the nice surprise, you’ll discover it in the following…
16-year-old Jessica Watson is the youngest sailor who voyaged around the globe without any assistance.
I wouldn’t be pleased at all if that happened to my boat…
Look how it occurred after the break.
Drag boat racer Quinton Knight crashed his boat but happily he had minor injuries – he broke his leg, in comparison to what could have happened to him in this accident.
Drag racing is considered to be one of the most dangerous sports in the world as the lightweight boats are easily crashed and burst into flames.
Anyways, the pictures are impressive!
Never saw how a boat is being built.
In this post, you can get aquatinted with the building process.
A woman turned over in her boat in the swirling water at the base of a dam. She couldn’t get out and rescue boats couldn’t come near enough to pull her out.
Who do you think came into her rescue?... An ordinary guy, a construction worker saw her and without thinking he and his crew made a rescue operation involving a crane. The worker hung on the chains that were attached to the crane and then he was lowered to the water by the crane and could grab the woman’s hand and pulled her out.
Hats off to the real hero!!!
What is the common point between these two images?
At first glance, nothing.
That is what an old boat has become. Nice :)
