This was the mansion of Albert Anastasia who ran an organized crime group Murder, Inc. in the 1930s through the 1940s in New York and elsewhere. It is believed that Murder, Inc was responsible for between 400 and 1,000 contract killings. The mansion is located in Fort Lee, NJ and sits on 1.3 acres (0.53 hectares) of land and has 25 rooms. It will go under the hammer in June with a starting bid of $5.5 million.
