A couple from Bloemfontein, South Africa, bought this cheetah cub at the auction. Today the big cat called Jolie is treated like the member of their family. She eats from the kitchen table, sleeps on the sofa and plays with the family's other pet, a German Shepherd called Franky.

A family of animal handlers from Vancouver keeps an 18-year-old grizzly bear cub Billy. The 113 kg (250 lb.) animal, whose favorite food is jam, swims in the backyard pool, plays on the carpet in the living room and even watches TV.

A family in Russia took in an adorable lynx from a local animal shelter to add to their four domesticated cats at home. Zen is now part of the family and gets along well with the other furry friends.
