This is the Vampire Cafe in Tokyo and it’s kinda spooky. It features spiders, skulls, baroque music and it is a very dark place. But the food is good and it doesn’t have any blood on it. The best part is that the waitresses all wear dark little French maid outfits. And it’s not that expensive, dinner for two can cost as much as $100.
This apartment is a geometric wonder. The designer Sou Fujimoto created one of the most unusual apartment buildings in the world. It is located in Tokyo and is composed of 5 distinct units with independent rooms which are all linked by stairs.
This three-story building is located in Tokyo, Japan. It has its own name – 63.02º because its facade is inclined 63.02 degrees toward the front road. This allows passersby see a wide and deep view of the house that has a small building of a SOHO (2 and 3 floors) and an apartment for rent (1 floor). This project designed by Jo Nagasaka and Schemata Architecture Office is significant and unique.
Tokyo is the city of lights. At least, it’s the way I see it when I look at the pictures of Tokyo at night. In this collection of photos, you’ll see the capital of the Land of the Rising Sun during the day, evening, morning and at night. No matter when, the city is just beautiful.
This is Kyoto University dormitory built almost a century ago, to be precise in 1913.Student squatters who live there pay an extremely low price: ¥2,500, about $27. Constructed at the southern edge of Kyoto University's Yoshida Campus, the dormitory was self-administered by the students who were in charge to select new applicants to live there. The building is maintained by students themselves, even though they did some little upgrades (like Ethernet cables in the corridors that lead to each room), but any of major building repairs have never been conducted and the building can't be considered safe, plus hygiene conditions are quite unsatisfactory.
Well, you’ll see it all inside the post.
A Japanese architect was given 2 specific instructions for building this house:
- it had to contain a garage with enough place for 9 cars and the possibility of viewing one of them directly in the living room.
- a tall tree had to fit in the house.
That was not an easy job as architect Takuya Tsuchida only disposed of 2000 square feet, but he managed to satisfy his client!
Two very interesting and creative houses will be shown inside the post.
Harajuku is a famous fashion street of Tokyo with a unique street fashion. Young people dressed in a variety of styles including gothic lolita, visual kei, and decora, as well as cosplayers spend the day in Harajuku socializing. The fashion styles of these youths rarely conform to one particular style and are usually a mesh of many.
Many prominent designers and fashion ideas have sprung from Harajuku and incorporated themselves into other fashions throughout the world. Incredible pictures. Have to see them!

Every month in the subway of Tokyo, a new rule of behaviour in the subway is released.
That way, they teach people to behave nicely and think of others.
