World's Biggest Hybrid Airship Is Not Just Another Blimp (20 pics)

The Airlander, a hybrid airship developed by British aeronautical firm Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV), is one of the largest aircrafts in the world. It was selected by the United States Army to provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support for ground troops. But they cancelled the project for cost reasons in February 2013.

This must be an unforgettable experience: flying in an airship, seeing fabulous bird's eye view Californian landscapes.
