Take a ride back in time to a decade when men wore platforms and flaring pants and women were just starting to let their hair down. Not surprisingly, many of these styles are back in.

“A role model is somebody that does things because of what they believe in regardless of what other people think.” – Anne Hathaway
Meat America is a series of photos created by American photographer Dominic Episcopo. The will also make part of an upcoming book. The series is intended to reflect America’s spirit of entrepreneurship and also "celebrate the appetite for insurmountable odds, limitless aspiration, and immeasurable success."
These are photographs of the offices that belong to America's largest invention factory Inventionland. I would truly love to work for them!
These maps are an interesting project that was developed by Eric Fischer. The maps show the population of various American cities by race and ethnicity, which are color-coded. Here’s what the colors stand for: Orange represent Hispanic population, Red is White, Blue is Black, green – Asian, Grey is other and each dot represents 25 people.. Really interesting and informative.

If you compare Japanese and American box art of different Kirby games, you will notice one interesting fact. When a pink ball jumps across the pond, his “face” expression will change from smiling to a look of anger and hatred. What if Kirby gets mad about crossing oceans and arriving in the USA? Who knows? But in America many people know this character only as the cheapest Super Smash Bros one. See more examples of curious attitude inside this post.
This collection shows the weirdest people you can meet on beaches in the USA. These are not hot girls in bikinis, as you might have hoped.
Many believe that American soldiers are evil and do horrible things in Iraq.
Here we have some photos that show how awful they are…
“As Long As We Both Shall Live" is a documentary created in the USA. It researches the marriage situation in America for the last three generations. All marriages that are shown in this project have the same feature. They all last for at least 40 years!
Can you imagine being happy with your second half for this period of time? Personally I would love to marry once and forever though it often sounds like a fairy tale nowadays.
Here’s an interesting observation.
Look closely at the newspaper.
You’re looking at Ukrainian Igor Vovkovinskiy while he’s sitting, nothing special, you may think, but you’ll see the difference when he is up…
It’s always difficult to fight against such “enemies” as sexually transmitted diseases and other bad habits that rule in modern society. It was even more difficult to battle against such diseases in the ‘30s and ‘40s in America. At wartime this propaganda was targeted at soldiers. And we thank Bruce LeRoy for sending us a link to great wartime vintage STD Propaganda posters that are colorful and very charismatic.
Greet the Kotzian family from Thornton, Colorado. This family, like other people with dwarfism (a rare genetic disorder of bone growth), has worked very hard to overcome social and physical barriers and can now live normal lives. The Kotzians work with Little People of America. It’s the only dwarfism support organization that helps little persons across the US. They went through a lot as there are many Americans who treat little persons like a circus act.
Peter Crabtree has created a photo collection “Ordinary American Scenes”. Photographer captures common American scenes in Vermont but this project shows us America-as-it-is. It’s pretty cool to discover usual families, random picturesque places and feel that these photos are more than just pictures of one American state. It’s a voice of the USA!

Only in America can a person who does nothing but act in front of a camera all day become so rich that they can afford the luxurious mansions shown in these photos. And only in America can a man who is worth nearly a billion dollars manage to find himself in the worst doghouse of all times.
It is not uncommon for many office employees suffer from excessive weight gain because they sit down all day while working and thus get no exercise. However, in America, there is a new type of environment is emerging which tries to address this problem. Check out the photo and you will see what the solution is. If you go inside the post you can also find more pictures.
Here’s an interesting story about two competing teams which can mean more than just a funny story. Perhaps you can see that in some enterprises they use the same system.
Yes, this country is really rich ;)
Here, even the homeless have their own notebook and a free Wi-Fi connection.
A small selection of homeless people working on laptop.
Selection of vintage photographs, let’s call it "Cars of America".
Perhaps there are those who will recall these beautiful times, for all the others, take a tour to see the cars that one can easily fall in love with. Very interesting!
