Most filters make people look prettier, but this one, by MakeApp, does something different. It actually has a number of functions that it can perform on photos or videos, using a neural network to imagine what a person’s facial features look like with more or less makeup. And the less-makeup filter is becoming incredibly popular as of late.
Artist Kyle Lambert did an amazing photorealistic portrait of actor Morgan Freeman on an iPad using only his fingers and the app Procreate. The final result, after 200+ hours of work and 285,000+ brush strokes, is simply stunning.
