We have here a collection of great illusions from artist Octavio Ocampo.
Don’t miss it!
It is called Art but I’ll let you judge…
Oh and I almost forgot: it has the tasty price of $31,002!!
This is a very interesting set of pictures realized by artist Juha Arvid Helminen.
I love it! Hope you’ll like it too..
Meet Cal Lane, this fragile and beautiful woman is a smith. The most amazing thing is that she turned her work into an art.
Just look what a beauty Cal can do with her hands.
I have to admit that it looks quite beautiful.
But still, it gives chills when I see all these snakes ;)
All right, I understand everything: it is art, it is beautiful etc… but why, why did they have to waste so much money?
As I always say, art can be done with everything…
So, for those of you who like unusual art, check these portraits made with weed joint butts!
Pittsburgh-based artist Cliff Maynard sells them from $2,000 to $10,000 depending on the size…
Rather unusual form of art I’d say!
My brain exploded. On the one hand, these photorealistic sculptures look a little scary, but in anyway they are mega cool.
Most successful hyperrealistic sculptures were created by Ron Mueck, Evan Penny, Jamie Salmon, Duane Hanson, Sam Jinks and Adam Beane.
We will take a look at their work after the jump. A must-see post ;)
The artist Song Dong, one of the most inventive figures in contemporary Chinese art, has turned the contents of his mother's former home in Beijing, which was also his childhood home, into the installation titled "Waste Not.
These are all everyday life objects collected by Song Dong’s mother over the span of fifty years - clothes, books, kitchen utensils, toiletries, school supplies, shopping bags, rice bowls, dolls… That’s quite unusual. I like keeping stuff too, but not that and not like that…
“Waste Not” was exhibited at the New York Museum of Modern Art.
3D art is cool. Some people are really talented and this collection of 3D pics is more than a proof.
Enjoy!
Many of us liked to scratch something on the desks at school ;)
But for Ben Turnbull, it grew into something more, it is not just for fun anymore, now, this is art ))
This is a cool project by Fred Lebain.
He just went to different areas of New York and took photos. He later printed those pictures in a large poster format. One year after his first visit, he went to the same spots and took a larger shot in which he set the poster he printed from his first visit.
The result is cool, I just wished there were more of these…
Cheeming Boey is an artist who likes to use a Sharpie and make art on foam cups rather that using paintbrushes and painting on canvas or paper… it’s unusual but why not, after all it’s really well done…
His passion transformed into a business as he now sells them for hundreds of dollars.
Look at more of those cups after the jump!
The artist responsible for those masterpieces is Craig Tracy. This art is not new and you may have already seen lots of photos of this kind but I must say those ones are really amazing.
This great artist decides what to paint when he sees the model's body, using their shape as an inspiration for ideas and he can spend two days planning before applying the first splash of paint…
Just brilliant!
Well they do lots of things… including art with haystacks. That’s what it’s all about here; you will see some very creative or fun works of art based on haystacks like statues, life-size sculptures…etc.
It’s really an amazing type of work.
If you are near the sculpture, it just looks like a pile of garbage, but if you are placed at the right angle and distance, then you see the masterpieces. It’s just amazing what you can do with garbage.
All done by Bernard Pras, a French artist.
Such images were obtained by combining thousands of pictures of smoke.
And the result is simply incredible. Such works can take your breath away, incomparable beauty. Look.
Some people are very talented and they like to express themselves on the street for the pleasure or ‘unpleasure’ of other people.
As far as I’m concerned, I really love graffiti when it’s that artistic.
So here it is, a big selection of graffiti art pictures. I separated the selection in three parts for the page to load faster, so don’t miss the two other pages.

We continue to look at a different yummy and creative snack.
And do not forget to view the first part if you missed it ;)
Such creativity always pleases the eye, it is not just graffiti, but a whole art.
I wouldn’t say no to such murals on the walls of my house. A collection of very great wall murals awaits you inside the post.
It's incredible how these “drawings” can look cool on cars.
And the most interesting is that it does not require any special or sometimes very expensive paint.
The simple dirt is used to do this and it’s totally free. However, in order to create such masterpieces one must have a great talent.
See for yourself.

It’s a very original and interesting recipe to try. It’s beautiful, edible and definitively creative.
Look at the pictures inside the post to see how to make those potato chips roses.
The author of those pics has a good imagination. I like almost all of them. Hope you will like it too :)
I never imagined that one could make art with dead flies… Despite the fact that it’s pretty weird, I must say it’s very creative and quite funny.
You should take a look.
These little fellas are doing their daily affairs on these delicious food landscapes.
All of this food seems even tastier somehow ;)
This photo-art project was created by Akiko Ida and Pierre Javelle and its exposition will take place in Biarritz, France, from October 6 to 24, and Mérignac from October 30 to November 28.
Artist Luke Jerram has created some of the world’s deadliest viruses and bacteria in glass for his Viral Sculptures exhibition which will be held in London at The Smithfield Gallery, from the 22nd of September to the 3rd of October. He made those masterpieces with the help of virologists and scientific photographs and the help of a team of glassblowers.
We often see pictures of viruses and bacteria in colors but they are actually transparent, so Luke Jerram created each virus and bacterium in its natural colorness state.
Take a look at his impressive and very original work inside the post.
