Oktoberfest is held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It is a 16- to 18-day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October. More than 6 million people from around the world attending the event every year.
Hundreds of beer-lovers were present at an inauguration of what is known to be Europe's first "beer fountain" a couple of days ago in Slovenia. Six Euros ($6.75) gets you a special glass with a microchip that allows customers to pour a very modest decilitre of beer five times from any of the five different taps.
