In 1936, a 16-year-old Dutch woman Ria van Dijk hit the target in a mobile dash. When she got to the target, the camera took a shot to confirm that the target was hit. As a result, from the age of 16 to 88 Ria van Dijk has been taking self portraits of herself at a fairground shooting gallery. The last prize she won in 2009 at age 88!

Cooper the cat has been taking pictures over a year periodically and there’re plenty of them.
You’re maybe asking yourself how a cat can take pictures, well it’s quite simple with a cat-cam, a small camera that Cooper wears on his neck once a week and that snaps a new photo every two minutes.
Now let’s see what life is about through the eyes of Cooper the cat + some pictures of the cat itself:

An interesting BeetleCam project created by two brothers from the UK has helped them to take wonderful pictures of wild elephants, lions and other animals in Tanzania. Brothers Matthew and Williams Burrard-Lucas spent two weeks in savannah letting their camera roll on its wheels closer to the animals to make the best shots. They operated their device from a distance sitting in their car nearby. Elephants were ok with the moving “enemy”, but lions crushed the camera and threw it away. Luckily, it was possible to restore the memory card and make these photos available. Enjoy!

You can easily lose small objects like cell phones or cameras in any place at any time and there’s almost nothing you can do about it. But you can do something for people who find it.
A guy has created a ‘pictoral guide to avoiding camera loss’.
It’s brilliant, first because it’s funny, secondly because it’s kinda clever.
Discover his method after the jump..
Well that’s the idea with this design…
