Riddle of the day: what do you think this is?

One guy went crazy with googly eyes on a recent trip to Target. Here are the fun results.

German eyemaker, Gerhard Greiner is the master craftsman behind these top-quality prosthetic, glass eyes, which he makes in his laboratory by hand. One eye can cost over $450 and can take over an hour to produce.

Heterochromia refers to a difference in coloration, usually of the iris but also of hair or skin. It is a result of the relative excess or lack of melanin (a pigment).

After having examined the mirror of the human soul, Suren Manvelyan switches to the animals’ eyes. This project is unique as each creature shows an exclusive ‘landscape’ because each animal has a unique shape, pattern and color of the eye. Manvelyan uses macrophotography to reveal the perfect beauty created by nature.

If you want make your eyes sparkle - no problem. Only for $15,000 you can buy a pair of contact lenses fitted with real diamonds and gold. You will have a choice between four designs of diamonds on white gold, diamonds on yellow gold, or just gold or yellow gold.  This  'eye jewellery' of 18 diamonds studded onto an 18-carat gold plate on a special lens was created by Shekhar Eye Research in Mumbai.
