Radical Faeries (26 pics)

The Radical Faerie movement started in the USA among gay men during the 1970s sexual revolution. These people were rejecting hetero-imitation and redefining queer identity through spirituality. Today they are independent and community-focused. Even though faerie culture is undefinable as a group, it exists and honors its founders Harry Hay and Artur Evans. Inside this post you will find photos of Faeries who gather in different states every year. Some of them even live together in small communities.
