Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima revealed 10 previously unknown to anyone photos of Hiroshima bombing, some of which show the mushroom cloud rising – the sight previously believed to be captured only by the crew of the B-29 bomber Enola Gay.
Interesting photos that show the US’s final preparations of "Fat Man" and “Little Boy” which were codenames for atomic bombs that were detonated over the Japanese cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima in August of 1945.
These black and white photos show the utter destruction wreaked by the atomic bombs that were dropped on these cities. Seeing the flattened landscapes, it is hard to imagine how they were able to rebuild.
This pyramidal house designed by the architect Makoto Tanijiri is quite unusual and non conventional, that’s not something you see everyday! At first, you could think that it’s a house from the future but on the contrary, it’s a house inspired by the earliest houses in Japan architecture.
