Some people have a lot of fun with holiday cards and these are some of the coolest.

One couple asked New Yorkers one question, what they wished for the holidays. These are their thoughts and ideas.

So many of us enter the holiday season alive with hope and cheer, and have certain high expectations. However, these image comparisons will drive a little sad, but unfortunately honest reality into those pretty expectations.

Claudine Doury is a French photographer living in Paris.

She chose two main themes for her reports: exploring the changes in Eastern Europe, as well as the metamorphosis of juvenile period of life.  In Paris in 2004, the book called: Artek, un été en Crimée (Artek, a summer in Crimea, Ukraine) of Claudine was published.

The pictures were taken from 1994 until 2003. There are no boring staged or formal photos. All images of Claudine show the true story about the Artek life of children in there.  Some people found the photos absolutely delightful, others subjected them to devastating criticism saying they are being inappropriate.

Moreover, five years after the album publication, it was used as evidence in a scandalous case of corruption of minors by camp administration. 

Ukrainian psychologists reproached Doury that she shot a series of photos for "adults who are prone to pedophilia."
 

On May 28, is celebrated an official Russian holiday: the Day of the Border Guards.

Both former border guards and active service celebrate it across the country. In Moscow, it is often celebrated in Gorky Park.

In May, the usually quite high temperatures in Russia allow border guards to swim in ponds and fountains. It is also normal for brawls to appear during the celebration as much vodka is involved.
