After seeing this selection of gorgeous lake houses I know for sure that if I ever move to a new house it will also face some tranquil lake waters.

The lake on the Selfridges roof garden opened for the first time since World War II. The lake is located in London and dyed green and serves cocktails. In order to give the Selfridges a boating license, there were miles of steel used to reinforce the roof so that it would hold the lake.
