These are works of Japanese painter Tetsuya Ishida. He painted scenes of ordinary Japanese life, but with the protagonist (a self portrait) always trapped in a machine-like body, or treated as part of a production line.
Tetsuya Ishida died in 2005 after being hit by a train (possibly suicide).
This is a collection of gif images created by some Russian photoshoppers who don’t lack imagination. They used classic paintings and added a little bit more life and fun by turning them into gif pictures and by adding some funny new elements…
Some of these are very good and quite ingenious!
Here’s a little selection of animals who know how to hold a brush and do some abstract art.
Most of them are trained, of course, but some of them felt an artist inside them, took the brush and started to create their own artworks.
Like this dog Sammy who lives with his owner in Maryland. His owner said that Sammy started to paint after his owner attached a brush to his rubber bone. Recently some of his works were sold for $1,700. Not bad for a dog, huh? ;)
The amazing oil paintings in these photos are the work of Paul Robert and they really show off his incredible artistic talent. Most are so lifelike they appear to be photographs. His attention to detail makes his paintings photorealistic.
This is a compilation of the most awesome hyperreal paintings made by different painters. And it’s the greatest artwork I’ve ever seen.
Each of them looks like a real photo maybe brushed a little or retouched, but they definitely don’t look like a painting.
The artist Bill Guffey says that he has not enough money to travel around the world and do what he’s doing best – painting. So, he says Google Street View helps him to “travel” and create his works.
Technology and art – who knew ;)
Artists here made a really great job. I’m sure if you did not know that those pics were paintings you would have thought they were photos.

I cannot even imagine what a difficult and delicate work artists had to do to create this beauty.
I would also add that they are very talented, because without such a talent it would be difficult to do something like that, that's for sure.
Planes are a fast and convenient means of transport. But they could be cooler if they were all painted that way.
Look at the selection after the jump.
The artworks of Jeffrey G. Batchelor certainly deserve attention.
All his works are very unusual and quite interesting. Personally, I really liked it.
Would you believe, by looking at this painting, that it was done in a very basic iPhone application? No? Neither would I. The talent is always there no matter what. Hats off to artists!
I chose the best paintings to my taste made on iPhone.
Nothing much to say apart what’s written in the title. It’s a creative work and those pics are well done and really funny. I love the one with Gollum :))
Celia Pike is an English artist. Her main subjects of paintings are mostly cats, interiors and landscapes.
Really good!
Even the first and superficial acquaintance with the work and the life of Dmitri Didorenko is astonishing.
By looking at his paintings, it is hard to believe that he is blind. But this is true ...
Very beautiful. Retro theme.
The painter Tiago Hoisel is known for his unusual way to draw pictures. I hope you’ll like them.
