Tommy Kleyn rides his bicycle to work every morning along the waterfront in the Netherlands but he got tired of seeing how much pollution was lining its banks. He decided that he would fill one garbage bag per day with rubbish until he had cleaned it completely and his actions inspired others to help out as well. It is great to see how good it looks now.
French artist Bernard Prasthat is the man responsible for this amazing portrait on display at the the Palais Ideal du Facteur Cheval in Hauterives. It is made entirely from rubbish that is placed very systematically.
