These are the creations of artist Bruce Mackley who used over 20,000 decking and framing screws to create his “This is Descent” masterpiece which weighs over 160 kilos.
California-based artist Andrew Myers found an original way to make his portraits more vivid. He paints them on screws driven in a wooden panel at different depths in order to make the picture three-dimensional. The result looks rather innovative.
